Major Duties:
Screens outpatient and emergency cases to determine the nature and extent of health care required including vital signs, reviewing medical history and assisting with patient instructions for treatments and providers diagnosis. Provides nursing care to patients in the clinics and on an emergency basis in accordance with nursing care plans, providers orders and policy and procedures for urgent/emergency care. Oversees the operation of laboratory services to include collection of lab specimens and shipment of specimens along with documentation thru electronic health records. Attends annual trainings and keeps certifications within policy and procedures within the agency's requirements. To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social). BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
Education:
Completed a graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program is required. ( Must provide copy of transcripts with resume). Currently enrolled in a professional nursing program and expect to complete the qualifying education within 9 months. ( Must provide copy of transcripts with resume). Licensure:
Passed the National Council Licensure Examination And possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a state, the district of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. ( Must provide a copy of your license and/or registration along with your resume). In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below- MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Specialized Experience :
GS-0610-09. 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal service obtained in either the private or public sector the following type of work and/or tasks:
Perform initial diagnosis for minor or major problems of patient in outpatient clinic setting, referring to special doctor for date treatment; Provide comprehensive physician care to patient based on the physician's medical care plan and the physical, mental and emotional needs of the patient. Experience:
GS-0610-10:
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in the federal service obtained in either the private or public sector the following type of work and/or tasks:
Provide nursing care, triage patients, recognize and intervene in acute life-threatening situations. Interpret data about the patient's status in order to identify the patient care needed; independently plan, schedule and provide comprehensive nursing care in a ambulatory/urgent care setting. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
